From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
On Monday, 16 July, the experts from KMLabs arrived to begin assembly of the PULSAR laser system. Everything got uncrated, moved into the new lab area, and positioned on the optics tables.
