The Lasers for Ultrafast Metrology and Optical Spectroscopy (LUMOS) facility is operated by Professor Kristan Corwin. She and her students are concerned with the fundamental physics of non-linear optics, with an eye towards developing compact, portable optical frequency standards. They work in collaboration with Brian Washburn and his UNFO facility. This set of photos was taken in October 2008.
