Our Cryebis, a cryogenic electron beam ion source, creates slow,
highly charged ions. Using the Cryebis and ECR for slow ions, the
Tandem or the Linac (in decel
mode) for medium-speed ions, or the Linac (in accel mode) for fast ions, we can do any ion
collision experiment we like.
This set of photos was taken in September 2008.
