Linac beamline RA1 is the first, or 15° beam port off the first Linac switching magnet.
The KSU HEP group has one experiment mounted to this beamline.

High Energy Physics Testing

This beamline is used for radiation exposure testing of silicon strip detectors intended for use in CERN's CMS Detector. This beamline is equipped with a small chamber for holding the detector samples and electrostatic raster-scanning deflectors.

The line is also equipped with a magnetic quadrupole doublet lens and two sets of magnetic steerers.
