Linac beamline RB1 is the first, or 15° beam port off the second Linac switching magnet.
The Pat Richard group has one experiment mounted to this beamline.

Gas Jet & Recoil Spectrometer

Used to study Transfer Ionization (TI) and Single Capture (SC) processes, this line features a supersonic gas jet and a recoil ion momentum spectrometer.

The line is equipped with a magnetic deflectors, magnetic steerers, a liquid nitrogen vacuum trap and a pair of Helmholtz coils.
