Linac beamline LA3 is the third, or 45° beam port off the first Linac switching magnet.
The Lew Cocke group has one experiment mounted to this beamline.

COLTRIMS

This beamline is equipped with the cold target recoil ion momentum spectrometer and is used with both ions and laser pulses.

The line is also equipped with a magnetic quadrupole doublet lens and two sets of magnetic steerers.
