"Juliana Woodhull, 4th generation, born April 6,1737, was the fifth daughter and seventh
child of Nathaniel Wodhull and Sarah Smith. She married, in October, 1767, Hezekiah Howell
(2nd). He was born at Smithtown, Long Island, September 13, 1741, and later removed to
Blooming Grove, Orange County, New York. He was the first Supervisor of Cornwall, Orange
County, also High Sheriff of Orange County, and received his commission as Second Major of
the Orange Coiintv Minute Men, January 5, 1776. He died April 2, 1815. She died April 16, 1816."

"HEZEKIAH HOWELL, son of Hezekiah & Susannah (Sayre) Howell, was born at Smithtown,
Long Island on 3 Sep 1741. The will of John J. Carpenter of Blooming Grove, Orange County,
New York, dated 31 Jan 1766, left his brother-in- law Hezekiah Howell a pair of silver shoe buckles
at the price of 40 shillings a pair (CNYHS 31:149). He was married with New York license dated
1 Oct 1767 to JULIANA WOODHULL, daughter of Nathaniel & Sarah (Smith) Woodhull. She was
born on 6 Apr 1736. They had removed from Smithtown to Blooming Grove, New York by 1770...
Hezekiah Howell died on 9 Mar 1815. Juliana (Woodhull) Howell died on 16 Apr 1815, and
was buried at Washingtonville, New York."
