  [1565] Elizabeth Ellis made her will on 22 September 1775, and it was proved on28 May 1776. She named five grandsons, Nathaniel, Joseph, Daniel, Simeonand Jesse Chickering and four granddaughters, Elizabeth, Kezia, andLydia, children of Daniel Chickering, and Betty Ellis, all of Dedham. Shethen named her daughter Kezia Chickering. That this is the rightElizabeth, widow of Thomas Ellis, is clear from the Natick vital recordsand the probate of her son Thomas Ellis in 1768 (Middlesex Co. Probate,file #6930).
