From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
In the last full week of April, the PULSAR lab walls began to wrap around and look like an enclosure. Ceiling panels began to appear above the beams, completing the effect in all three dimensions.
