From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
Mid-April, and the walls of the PULSAR area continue to rise. The loading dock is covered with the beams and prefab parts that are taking shape in the lab underneath.
