Sunday, 03 June was Day Three of the 2018 Kandango. This final day took us back down McDowell and Humboldt Creek roads to Alta Vista, and up old K-10 through Volland to Alma. You can see my own ride reports at Garmin Connect or Strava. It was a beautiful day to ride though the beautiful Flint Hills. There was yet another gravel connector, and we all took the bus for that one since the road was too sandy for skinny road bike tires. Kandango officially ended in Alma, and there was a Byzantine scheme for moving cars and riders around in the wee small hours. I opted out of that in favor of just riding the extra 30 miles back home via K-99 and Zeandale road. I earned my smoothie at Radina's once I rolled back into town!
