(This is a very thoroughly researched site. Be certain to follow the "Notes"
links out of the family trees to find a great deal of background information.)

"The Ancestry of Garret Conrad Van Wagnen"
 Frank L. Van Wagnen
 Buffalo, N.Y., 1946
(NB: Van Wagnen relies heavily on, but questions, Mary Elizabeth Sinnott's "Annals
of the Sinnott, Rogers, Coffin, Corlies, Reeves, Bodine and Allied Families" of 1905.)
"Maria Crocheron. Married Jan. 11, 1680, Jean Bodin, her name appearing
in the church records as Crossron. (Marriage records of the Flatbush
Church, in the Holland Society Yearbook for 1898, p. 88). She may have
been the Maria "Creison" who, with Jan Bodin, witnessed a baptism in the
Reformed Dutch Church in New York City, Nov. 3, 1677. (Collections of
the New York Genealogical and Biographioal Society, vol. 2, p. 130). Her
first name is not given in Sinnott's work, but is indicated in Lee's
"Genealogical and Memorial History of the State of New Jersey", vol. 4,
 p. 1368. Information of the probable ancestry of Jean Bodine, and of his
descendants is included in the Bodine chapter."
