Saturday, 25 May was Day One of the 2019 Cottonwood 200, and took us from Topeka to Council Grove, mostly along K-4 to K-177 highways. As usual, we had to deal with persistent wind, never in our favor. We did avoid being rained on while on the road, but high water was everwhere around us.
