Our serious torment began on Sunday, Day 2, as Biking Across Kansas. headed southeast towards Ashland. The south wind would blow steadily over 20 mph and gust to 37 mph as the temperature climbed to a high of 102° F. The unfit dropped like flies, as did at least on brand-new shade canopy.

You can view this ride in detail at Garmin Connect or at Ride With GPS.
