Goessel, on Day 5, was the most fun of all the communities we stayed in. The mayor was a BAK veteran, and one of the BAK staff was a Goessel native, and they saw to it that the town was well-prepared. The mayor, quite a character, met the cyclists in costume at the school grounds, and then hosted a "private" beer garden in his business (the staunchly Mennonite community not willing to go that far for us...). The grilled chicken dinner that night was probably the best meal of the trip, too.

I rode 54 miles to earn that beer, chicken and pie, which you can view in detail at Garmin Connect or at Ride With GPS.
