Biking Across Kansas officially began in Sharon Springs this year. Cheri and Cran Cederlind organized the Bikes On Buses excursion that transported riders and their bikes from Lenexa to there on Friday. Once we arrived and checked in, I hit the road to ride out to the Colorado border and back, about 34 miles. A strong, gusty south wind (details) presaged the evil weather yet to come...
