The JRM Photo Gallery: Tornado |
Manhattan was struck by a tornado on the night of 11 June 2008. One touchdown point was on campus, destroying the roofs of the SAE house and the nuclear reactor, skinning the Wind Erosion Lab, and doing extensive damage to Cardwell Hall and other buildings. More news and photos are available from the KSU Weather News, the KSU Photo Gallery, or from the Manhattan Mercury. Fuzzy video of the tornado on-campus is available from KTKA. Each thumbnail below links to an image about 950 kB in size. Don't know quite where on campus you're looking? Try the interactive campus map. | ||
