pp71-73: "Kenelm Winslow, third son and fourth child of Edward Winslow and Magdalene
(Ollyver) of Droitwitch, Worcestershire, Eng., was born at that place, on 29 April, 1599,
and baptized the Thursday following, 3 May, 1599; he " dyed at Salem and was buried there
13 Sept., 1672," aged 73 years. He came to Plymouth, probably in 1629 with his brother
Josiah, and was admitted freeman, 1 Jan. 1632-3... He m. June, 1634, Eleanor Adams, widow
of John Adams, of Plymouth. She survived him and d. at Marshfield, Mass., where she was
buried 5 Dec. 1681, "being eighty-three years old," He d. 13 Sept. 1672, aged
seventy-three, Salem, Mass., where he had gone on business."

"Kenelm was a brother of Edward Winslow who came to MA on the Mayflower. He came to
Plymouth in 1629. He was baptized 3 May 1599. He came to Marshfield and was a freeman in
1633. He was a surveyor of the town of Plymouth, an original proprietor of Freetown, and
represenative to the General Court in 1642. Engaged in the settlement of Yarmouth and
other towns; was a member of Marshfield military company. He was styled a "joyner," 6
January 1633/34, when Samuel Jenney was indented to him as an apprentice; but he is
elsewhere and generally called a "planter." He was representive the General Court 1642-44,
and 1649-53. His will was dated 8 August 1672; testified before William Hawthorne and was
probated at Plymouth 5 June 1673. Certain estate formerly given to his son Kenelme; wife
Ellinor's estate to go to son Nathaniel after her decease; son Job; daughter Ellinor;
grandchildren Kenelme Baker, Mary Adams and others not specified."
