p510: "Elenor or Ellender Bryan, d. abt. 1792, in Madison Co., Ky.; m. William Linville (d.
1768, killed by Indians). They lived in the Boone and Bryan settlements on the Yadkin in
North Carolina, coming there from Virginia. After William Linville's death, Mrs. Ellender
(Bryan) Linville went to Ky., to live with her children, and died there in Madison County,
in 1792. Her daughter Anne Linville married George Boone (Sguire; George)."
