"DANIEL MORGAN (EDWARD) was born 1691 in Moyamensing, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died
June 29, 1773. He married ELIZABETH EVANS (CADWALLADER) ROBERTS November 21, 1718 in
Gwynedd, now Montgomery, PA, daughter of ROBERT CADWALLADER and JANE EVAN. She was
born 1688, and died November 14, 1777." Elizabeth was a "minister amongst Friends. As such, she
traveled to most of the meetings of Friends in PA, and some of the adjacent colonies. She also visited
most of the meeting in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland."

According Faragher's book, "Daniel Boone" --- Daniel Morgan was "young Boone's (Daniel Boone) namesake and his mother's (Sarah Morgan) older brother. He was a traveling Quaker minister, "noted as a man of great bodily strenth fearlessly encountering the perils of the wilderness," as descendants proudly put it.
