An undated letter from John Jacobs to Carrie Needham suggests
that "Allie" was wed around Christmas right after John bought land
in Beloit, KS. This most likely implies a wedding in December 1884,
when the family was probably still living near Lincoln, NE. I am unable
to find any record of such a wedding in NE, KS, IA or CO.
