(2) April 29. 1684, Sarah, daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Thaxter)
Thurston, who was born in 1662, died April 29, 1686; he died February
28, 1717-8."

  [1572] Docket #3986. Samuel made his will 26 Feb. 1718 [sic], aged about 78,and it was proved 17 March 1717 [sic], thus the year was 1717/8. Henamed son Joshua, daughter Sarah, wife of Isaac Bullard, children ofdaughter Elizabeth deceased and of son Benoni and grandchild ZipporahMorse. He named his son Joshua as sole executor in his will, but thecourt appointed "Samuel Morse of Medfield, "sole executor in the willnamed." The record is obviously in error. Joshua Morse swore to theinventory on 8 April 1718. The son Samuel is not even named in the will.The file at the Mass. State Archives agrees.
