"Edward Fitz Randolph, born probably in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England, emigrated
in 1630 to Scituate, Mass., and died in Piscataway, N. J., about 1675-6. He married, 10 May 1637,
Elizabeth Blossom, born in Leyden, Holland, in 1620, died in Woodbridge or Piscataway, N. J.,
in 1713, daughter of Thomas and Ann (Heilson) Blossom." The Blossoms had been passengers
aboard the "Speedwell", which had to return to Leyden.
