still does not show the early English lineage of immigrant John Whitney
as laid out in Ward and Doyle below, despite having an ancestry section
authored by Ward. This section carries a copyright date of 2006, preceding the
2007 publication of the below, so I presume it has simply not been updated.

"Robert Whitney, gentleman of Castleton, co. Hereford, was born say 1500.
His will was dated 16 July 1555 and proved in 1555, so he died in the latter
half of that year. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Morgan ap William. Her
birth date is unknown; she died after the date of her husband's will. If she
remarried, we have found no record of it."
