"William's first child was a daughter named Mary, She died suddenly in 1666 and he named
his little daughter, born 1667, after her..."
"Mary, b. 1 Jan. 1639-40, bapt. 16 May 1647; m. Thomas Totman. In 1666, she died suddenly,
leaving one child, Stephen Totman. The jury impanelled for her death, found, "That she did
gather, dress and eat a root (which she judged the same that she had eaten of before) of a
poisonous nature, which we believe the sole cause of her death". In 1678, her husband,
Thomas Totman, also died suddenly and the jury ruled that he died from "his own wilful
abstractinge of himself from food"."

p320: "William Parker was a freeman 1640. He had sixty acres of land north of Edward
Foster's North river lot. His house stood in Parker lane, west of the small brook. In
1639, he married Mary, the daughter of Thomas Rawlins: and again 1651, Mary, the daughter
of Humphry Turner. His children, Mary born 1639, William 1643, Patience 1648, Miles 16SS,
Joseph 1658, Nathaniel 1661. This family has spread wide in the country. Some descendants
are in Boston."

Randall; one d. m. Thomas Topman; and in his will are also named ds. Lydia and Judith; and
this Lydia prob. was sec. w. of Theophilus Wetherell, and d. 7 Sept. 1719, aged 67."
