v161 p252: "Richard Eliot, b. ca. 1504 (based on age at death), bur. Stanford Rivers,
Essex, 6 May 1607 as "Mr. Richard Elyot of an hundred & three years old." He m. (1) Marion
_____ who was bur. Stanford Rivers as "wife of Mr. Eliott" 15 Jan. 1561/2. He m. (2)
Stanford Rivers 9 Aug. 1563 Catherine Tomson. Catherine Elyot, "wife to Rich gent" was
bur. there 2 Feb. 1573/4. He m. (3) Elizabeth _____ by Easter Term 1594 when Richard
Eliott esq. and his wife Elizabeth transferred property at Cottered, Herts, to Nowell
Sotherton, gentleman [whose daughter Katherine married Richard Eliots son Thomas].
Richard Eliot was named as the "son and heir" of Elizabeth (Wilson) (Eliot) Green by her
husband Thomas Green of Stanford Rivers, in his will dated 23 March 1534."
