p85: "Joseph Shed, born in Billerica, Mass., 9 Feb. 1740/1, was a housewright
and farmer in Billerica...he removed to Tyngsboro, Mass., and thence to Merrimack,
N.H., where he lived for several years. Later he went to Bethel, Vt., where he
purchased and sold several lots of land between 1805 and 1809. The time and place
of his death have not been found. He married at Concord, Mass., 7 Jan. 1773,
Rebecca Needham, born in Billerica 7 Jan. 1754, daughter of Benjamin and Rebecca
(Jaquith) Needham."
