 as the widow of Colonel Peter Matthews of Albany.

 "His widow Bridget died in New York in January, 1721-2, and left a will,
 made shortly previous to her death, in which she names her "only son
 Vincent" and her two daughters Catharine and Flora, and her grandson
 Peter Mathews, bequeathing the latter her late husband's silver watch
 and "a little desk which his father now hath, together with my husband's
 writing desk which now stands in my parlour."
