ECR Ion-Ion Facility
(LEICF)

The ECR, Cryebis and various stand-alone sources comprise
the LEICF, found in the source area of the "new" lab.

Ion-Ion Crossed-Beams Facility

The Electron-Cyclotron Resonance (ECR) ion source, part of the Low Energy Ion Collision Facility (LEICF), includes an ultra-high vacuum crossed-beams facility. Ions from the Cryebis or from stand-alone sources may be collided with ECR beams.

There are currently no experiments using the crossed-beams capability.
