On Day 0 of Biking Across Kansas 2023 we arrived by bus at Elkhart in the extreme southwest corner of the state. Unfortunately truck problems delayed the arrival of our bicycles, so I opted not to do the run to the Colorado border (which I've done before and is marked by nothing but a dirt road).
