Our first official ride on Saturday, Day 1 of Biking Across Kansas 2019 took us to Colby. It was a short (and bizarrely cold) 39 miles that I lengthened to 100 km by doubling part of the run to the border again. That last kilometers to the high school were uphill and into the wind, making them quite memorable.
