We concluded Biking Across Kansas 2019 on Day 8 in Atchison. After the short 43-mile jaunt, a special treat was seeing the last high-altitude Lockeed Electra like Atchison-native Amelia Earhart's. We did the usual concluding festivities, dipped our wheels in the high and mighty Missouri River, enjoyed a taco lunch, then boarded the bus for home.
