[828] Thomas lived in Boston. in 1690 he was admitted to the Second Church there, inthe records of which his name is written: Cushiou". Selectman of Boston in 1723, and representative of the King's State Council from 1724 to 1725. In 1725 hewas one of the opponents of the explanatory Charter of King George I. Shortly after his death, in the Suffolk Probate Records of that period. The Family Coatof Arms is appraised at twenty shillings.

THOMAS, Boston, s. of first John,m. 17 Oct. 1687, Deborah, d. of John Thaxter, had John, b. 6 Sept. 1688; Eliz.bapt. 8 Nov. 1691; Thomas, 4 Feb. 1694, H. C. 1711; Margaret, 19 July 1696; Deborah, 18 June 1699; Jonathan, 16 Mar. 1701; Hannah, 17 Jan. 1703; and Samuel, 14 Jan. 1705; was of ar. co. 1709, and mem. of the Counc. His w. d. 16 Feb. 1712, and he m. 8 Dec. foll. Mercy, wid. of Joseph Bridgham, d. of John Wensley, outliv. him, and d. 3 Oct. 1740, aged 72.

Military: He was Ensign in 1691, and member in 1709 of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company.
