Saturday, 02 June was Day Two of the 2018 Kandango. We rode a variation of the classic northern metric century out of Manhattan, through Riley, Leonardville, Randolph, Olsburg and back to Manhattan. You can see my own ride reports at Garmin Connect or Strava. It was much cooler after overnight storms, but those also brought gusty NW winds. The first half was a bit of a slog. Once past there, though, it became a glorious tailwind blowing us past especially lush and beautiful prairie. The Carnahan Road climbs were saved to the end. I stopped for a beer at the Little Grill, then had just a touch more gravel getting home past the Large Animal Farm. The evening's festivities featured barbecue at the Blue Earth Plaza.
