Saturday, 26 May was Day One of the 2018 Cottonwood 200, and took us from Topeka to Council Grove, on various roads south of Topeka to highways K-31, K-99 and US-56. You can see my own ride reports at Garmin Connect or Strava. Record high temperatures of 98F, moderate headwind and lots of hills made the back half of the day's ride a page from Hell. Note that the heat or something broke my sensor connections after lunch, so the data is incomplete.
