At last, we have a short downhill roll from Troy into Elwood and the Missouri River to complete Biking Across Kansas 2025 on Day 8. It was just 28 km to reach the river, dip our wheels, then find the park and our Chris Cakes brunch. Then we're onto the bus for the trip back to Wichita (thanks to the Brewer family for that). I total I rode 807 km / 501 mi and climbed 4,624 m / 15,170 ft.

You can view this ride in detail at Garmin Connect, Strava, or at Ride With GPS.

Leavenworth once had a swinging bridge like this.
