We began Biking Across Kansas 2019 on Day 0 in Goodland. There was plenty of time for the traditional run to the Colorado border and back on this pleasant afternoon. The crosswinds were a hint of what was to come for the rest of the week. Thanks to Zach and Phet Brewer for organizing the Wichita bus transportation, stepping in after the retirement of long-time organizer Betty DeWitt.
