On Thursday and Friday, 15 and 16 November 2001, we held open house to introduce our new high-power short-pulse laser lab to the University. Lab director Pat Richard and lead investigator Zenghu Chang introduced the facility and held a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony before inviting everyone to tour the lab and enjoy some refreshments.
