[3400] Justice Adam Smith lived on the south side of Stony Brook Harbor. He received a number of pieces of land by deed of gift from his father 29 August 1688.
Adam and Elizabeth had one son.

"Adam Smith (Richard), born about 1649, died 2 Jly 1726, aged 77 years, married
Elizabeth Browne, probably daughter of Edmund Browne, of Dorchester, Mass., whose
daughter, Elizabeth, was born 31 Dec 1658. She survived her husband for some years
and was living as late as 27 May 1735, when she signed a quasi will, making gifts to
her grandchildren, Adam and Anna Smith. She is mentioned in the will of her son,
Edmund Smith, dated 2 Jly 1734. Adam Smith was known as 'Justice Adam Smith." His
homestead was on the south side of Stony Brook Harbor..."
