pp74-75: "Kenelm (Kenelm), b. abt. 1635, Plymouth, Mass.; d. 11 Nov. 1715, Harwich, Mass.,
"in the 79th year of his age" acc. to gravestone, (14 Nov. acc. to Savage,). He early
removed to Cape Cod, and settled in that part of Yarmouth which was afterwards
incorporated with Harwich, and which is now Brewster... He m. 23 Sept. 1667, Mercy Worden,
b. abt. 1641, dau. of Peter, Jr., and Mercy, of Yarmouth. She d, 22 Sept., 1688, "in the
48th year of her age," according to her gravestone, which is still standing in the Winslow
burying-ground in Dennis... The headstones of Kenelm Winslow, his two sons, and many of
his descendants are also to be seen... He m. 2d, Damaris ----, who survived him, and was
living 27 March, 1729."

"Kenelm, b. about 1636, early estabilished his residence in that part of Yarmouth which
was afterwards incorporated as Harwich, and which is now Brewster...He m. Mercy, daughter
of Peter Warden, of Yarmouth. She d. 22 September, 1688, "in the 48th year of her age";
and he m. Damaris ---, who survived him, and was living 27 March, 1729. Mr. Winslow d. 17
November 1715, "in the 79th year of his age" and was buried in a lot near his
homestead..."

church in Scituate for baptism, Kenelm 1668, Josiah 1670, Thomas 1672. It is well known
that many of the ministers in the Colony were opposed to infant sprinkling at that time."

Scituate, as Deane, 389, shows. He liv. at Harwich, set off from Y. 1694, where he d. 4
Nov. 1715. His gr.-st. may be seen in the E. part of what is now Dennis, ano. offshoot
from Y. His w. Mercy, whose fam. name is unkn. d. 23 Sept. 1688, aged 47. Of the ch.
Kenelm, wh. left large posterity, d. 20 Mar. 1728; Josiah is not ment.; and Thomas d. at
16 yrs.; Samuel was of Rochester, and had six ch. whose dates are not heard; and Edward,
an import. magistr. and milit. officer, had Edward, five ds. and d. 25 June 1760."
